Hi Everyone
First let me say how sorry I am I have not been on here since April 30th. I did not even realize it until I just came on to check the blog and write a quick note to all. My how time goes by.
I have just gotten back from a long vacation at my mom's. Took my son swimming in the ocean and he had a blast. Got to spend a lot of time with family and saw some beautiful fireworks for the Fourth of July over the inlet and ocean. Such a beautiful site.
Well Now I am Back! Going to be putting some videos up this week of some new products in the store and telling about some new products to come.
I will not be taking pre orders for new CHA products, though I will be telling you the ones I will be getting along with their prices on a page in the store. Last time a few people got a bit upset when I did not send them their products when they were suppose to come out, which they didn't, so I decided it was not a good policy to do pre orders for customers any longer. If you want to send me an email with the new products you want I will be happy to make sure I have it for you on the first order in and you will pay only after they have come in to me. This way no unhappy customers. I hope you all understand.

Tattered Angels sent the order last week so hopefully it will be here before Friday lol. I am also going to try and get a video out soon with new items in the store. Tax time is a bear this year and I had a lot to learn and am still working on our taxes. Thursday is fast approching! Tim Holtz Dies Update

Hi everyone! Hope yall have had a great weekend!
I wanted to update everyone with the Tim Holtz Dies. THEY are not all in as of yet. Manufacturer's fault I am told but never the less I still don't have them all and the folders none at all. I will be happy to refund anyone who wants a refund. I want you to know I did the pre order the way I was told to do it in order to get them as soon as they came out. What they didn't tell me is that they were hit and miss with what the manufacturer was sending to them.
This has been my first CHA experience and I really think they could use some improvements. If you give a date have them ready! I personally think they should have had them in stock before CHA ever happened. I am sure that they had some ready but no where near what they needed. I am trying to order them from two different companies now so hopefully between the two I will get them in soon. I am even going to hit my local stores tomorrow to see if they have any of the ones I need to complete my orders. I will give an update again in a couple of days.
Again I am so sorry yall have had to wait on your dies.

Hi everyone! Just want to give you an update on the store. Sunday is the last day for the pre-orders for Tim Holtz New Dies! You can still purchase them after that but there may be a wait on your order if you did not pre-order. As yall can imagine they are going to go quickly and the companies I buy from will have back order issues I'm sure. The pre-order guarantees you will be the first to get yours with no wait.

Also, I will be putting new video's on with some of the new items that will be available at the store so keep an eye out. My battery for my camera is charging now so I hope to have one up by tonight.

I Have A "NEW Blog & a NEW NAME!!!"

It seems that trying to do business from two seperate cities has become a little confusing and a bit overwhelming for me at this time. So Barbara is going to run the store and her store blog under it's present name and I have re-named my part of the business. "The Scraps of My Life Blog" will be a seperate entity from "Life On the scrappy Side" from now on and I wanted to make everyone aware of this new change.
"The Scrappin' Hot Dealz" will move to my new blog as well as will my "Youniquely You Scrappin' Kitz". The Scrappin' Hot Dealz will be posted on the new blog starting Sunday the 28th for next weeks Special!!
Please do not mis-understand this seperation of the business, it just works better for me at this time. I do appreciate everyone's support in the past as well as during and after this small transition.

What are you most excited about this Holiday Season??!

Hello Everyone!!!
As I was surfin' the net checking out some of my fav sites this morning I came across a topic of discussion that asked the question, "What are you most excited about this December??" This was my brief reply, "I am excited this December because I have accomplished so much more this year in my paper crafting than ever before. I used to be a paper and embellishment collector, now I am a scrapbooker!! wwoooo hoooo!!! It feels good!" Because it was a retail site I did not name my accomplishments specifically, but I can here :) I am excited as well as thankful that I had the courage and ambitions to start this small, but very rewarding little kit biz that I am presently working my tushie off to get it off the ground because I want it to become so much more than just selling "Kitz". I am presently planning a number of things, as well as an exchange club if I find any interest :) But before I say any thing else I would like to give honor to some of those who have inspired and motivated me to put into action some of the things that bounce around in my little brain :) Marion, from "A Piece of Craft" was a great inspiration to me not only on my creative side, but she also inspired me to the point that I said, If she can do all she does with a family, Well... so can I!! So, I did!! and here I am now :) Thank you Marion!! I know you have inspired, and continue to inspire a great many people other than myself as well. Of course there are many, many more of you wonderful ladies who have jolted my creative side as well as ooooed and aahhhed me with your creativity, and for your sharing your mini albums, cards, and techniques with the whole crafting community I thank you from my heart :) You have all been a constant inspiration to me :) Thank you all so very, very Much....
I hope you all have a pleasant holiday season no matter how busy or hectic it may become, always keep in the back of your mind you can at some point grab you a cup of your favorite beverage, sit down in front of your computer, tune into YT and watch your crafting friends as they share some of their beautiful creations with the rest of us :)
